Company Information & Bios

Ron Stock Ron Stock is a Registered Pharmacist, founder, and owner of The Herbal Path.  Ron has been a Dover resident since his relocation to the Seacoast in 1996.  Ron opened The Herbal Path in 1997 with the mission of providing a reputable source of information on integrative medicine in addition to a source of high quality therapeutic natural products.  Throughout his 25 plus years of experience in the health field, Ron has always been an innovator and a pioneer, seeking ways to improve patient outcomes, compliance, and helping to educate people to be responsible for their own health and well-being.  Bringing his pharmacy background to the herbal and natural medicine world enables Ron to have a better understanding of how natural medicines work and how they may interact with prescription drugs.  Ron is a 1988 graduate from Rutgers University College of Pharmacy.  He has previously worked in many facets of the pharmaceutical field including retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, HMO pharmacy, and pharmaceutical manufacturing and pharmaceutical sales.  Ron is the founding president and current treasurer of NESHHA, the New England Seacoast Holistic Health Association.  Ron is also founder of the Journey to Wellness Integrative Medical Center which is located next door to The Herbal Path.
 
Gregory McCrone

Greg McCrone is a Registered Pharmacist and Certified Herbalist.  Greg has been with The Herbal Path since 1999 and loves discussing how herbs and supplements work in our bodies and can best be utilized to raise our standard of health care.  Greg completed Rosemary Gladstar’s Advanced Herbal Training and continues to seek out unique opportunities to train and travel with many renowned British and American herbalists, including David Hoffman, Deb Soule, Christopher Hobbs, and Matthew Wood.  Prior to coming to The Herbal Path Greg ran the pharmacy at Dartmouth–Hitchcock for 8 years specializing in patient counseling on such topics as diabetes, asthma and addiction treatment.  Greg is well known at The Herbal Path for his specialty tea blends and is committed to guiding people back to safe traditional forms of healing.

Marci Kuegel joined the Herbal Path team in 2008.  She is committed to helping customers make educated choices and enjoys sharing her own experiences with products.  She coordinates the Herbal Path email newsletter and online blog.  Her favorite thing about the Herbal Path is the sense of community among the staff and customers.  Marci graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2004 with a degree in Business Administration, and is currently the manager of the Dover Herbal Path.

 

Tracy Wood joined The Herbal Path staff in the spring of 2012 as the assistant manager. With 15 years experience as a licensed pharmacist and a lifetime interest in environmental health, biochemistry, and the health effects of food and exercise she is excited help others find better health. She graduated from URI with a B.S. in Pharmacy in 1984, and received a M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Oregon Graduate Institute in 1994. Her favorite aspect of The Herbal Path employment is the DAILY opportunity to help others with health choices and learn more about herbs, supplements, and wild crafted plant extracts.

 
Kathleen Callaghan

Pat Wilson had been a customer for close to 10 years purchasing supplements and alternatives before she began radiation treatment.  She credits the staff (especially Greg!) for keeping her informed of the best and newest products for immune building, etc.  Prior to joining the staff of The Herbal Path, Pat’s background was in Special Education in both public schools and clinical settings.  Pat is credited with many of the creatively designed displays at The Herbal Path that keep the store looking fabulous.

 
Kathleen Callaghan

Mekeel Cragin is a Licensed Cosmetologist and Certified Herbalist with an extensive background in the natural products industry.  As the primary health and beauty buyer for The Herbal Path, Mekeel is continually researching ingredients in order to ensure a quality selection of body care products.  Mekeel is dedicated to educating our customers about holistic health, helping them to achieve beauty from the inside out.

Chad Herbal Path

Chad Bradbury is a survivor of a traumatic brain injury where he was in a coma for 16 days in 1991.  He has staged a near miraculous recovery however, graduating from the University of New Hampshire, getting a massage therapy license and being admitted to nursing school in 2010.  Chad has a knack for natural products and a depth of knowledge about how the body makes use of them. His study of metabolic influences continues by working at the Herbal Path, seminar attendance and personal training.  He has been with us doing weekly chair massages since 2004, and has been a sales associate here since 2009.

 

Jenna Stedman has been working at the Herbal path since February 2012.  When she is not helping customers at the Herbal Path she is climbing trees, practicing yoga, or with the dandelions. Jenna is a very dedicated student. She is currently a candidate for a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics at University of New Hampshire. She looks forward to continuing her education after UNH by becoming a naturopathic doctor and herbalist. She believes in “Vis medicatrix naturae”, the healing power of nature.

 
   
 

Betsy Murray joined the Herbal Path team in 2012 and is pleased to assist customers with their natural health needs. Health and wellness is a passion for her and she enjoys helping people lead healthier and happier lives. Betsy enjoys working in a holistic environment where all aspects of a person can be taken into account. She will be serving as an assistant manager and shares her time between the Dover and Portsmouth stores. When Betsy is not at the Herbal Path she enjoys hiking, yoga, live music and spending time with family and friends.

 

Timothy Thayer is a native of Mystic CT. and moved to New Hampshire in 2009 and currently resides in the Dover area. Tim started working at the Herbal Path in January of 2012. He is trained in Reiki Level 2 and believes that "nature provides". He feels that life energy is all around us and nature is the best healer and provider of life’s answers. He feels that the Herbal Path provides some of the most positive energy from the fellow staff members and what the store provides. When he is not at the Herbal Path he is training and racing for the Team Nor-East Cycling team. He has a B.A. in Child Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University, and M.A. in Special Education from Johnson and Wales University. He been a special education teacher for over 7 years and currently teaches at Seabrook Middle School and is also the Cross-Country and Track Coach there as well. Tim enjoys using his background experience to help assist parents and students to enhance various education situations. Tim understands that learning should flow and allow ample room for creativity and should not be forced so that it will encourage a child's desire to want to learn.

 

Sheryl Paradis joined The Herbal Path team in April 2012 as Ron Stock’s personal office assistant. Office work has been her occupation over the years as invoicing, A/R and A/P managers. But her passion is nutrition which has led her recently to become a certified health coach at Beyond Organic University. Sheryl’s true joy is sharing or seeing others share their knowledge in health and nutrition and seeing people’s lives change. She thinks The Herbal Path is the perfect place to work for combining both occupations. Sheryl looks forward to learning more at The Herbal Path from the positive atmosphere and knowledgeable staff that promotes health and well being for our wonderful customers!
