Herbalist Consultation Follow Up
Natural health education through wellness consultations
Service Description
The Herbal Path offers natural health education through wellness consultations. All consults are currently in the Dover location with Jessica, our Clinical Herbalist. Wellness consultations are not natural medicine; they are natural wellness education as we seek balance and understanding in the science of keeping well. Wellness consultations may include information about herbs, supplements, foods, lifestyle choices, breathing techniques and more. Wellness consultations with our herbalists and pharmacists are available by appointment only, and may be experienced one-on-one, with children, couples, entire families, and even pets. HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY CONSULTATION? *Please also keep a food log for at least two or three days of everything you eat and drink, the more details the better. This can be brought to the appointment or emailed ahead of time. *Please bring all medications, supplements and over the counters to the appointment. *We encourage our clients to email their educator in advance a picture of everything you are taking, prescriptions, over-the-counter, vitamins, and supplements. A picture of the supplement facts panel is preferred over a list so that we can see product details, ingredients, dosages, etc. It is also a good idea to bring a pen and notebook/paper to take notes. Appointments booked online are pending approval. A staff member will reach out to collect the $25 deposit once approved. Once the deposit is paid, your appointment will be confirmed. If you would like to contact us directly for more information about wellness consultations, please call the Dover store at (603) 740-8400
Statement of Understanding & Cancellation Policy
STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING Only a physician (MD) can diagnose, treat illness, and prescribe medicines. As an Herbalist or Pharmacist and not an MD, I neither diagnose nor treat disease. Neither do I prescribe remedies. The human body has the innate power to heal itself. Without this power to self-heal, even the most advanced medications and surgical procedures would ultimately fail. The role of the Herbalist or Pharmacist in this healing process is to consider the client as a whole person, and to consult the client concerning changes in lifestyle, diet, and supplementation to foster an increased state of balance and health, thus maximizing the body’s self healing capabilities. I encourage and advise clients to seek professional medical advice regarding any illnesses or symptoms they are suffering from. This information, in turn, will aid in the process of a holistic, herbal consultation. CANCELLATION POLICY *If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance: *You can reschedule your appointment. *You will not be charged for an additional $25 deposit. *If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance: *You will be subject to the “No Show” policy (see below) *To reschedule the appointment, you must pay an additional $25 deposit. NO SHOW POLICY *After one (1) NO SHOW appointment, the $25 non-refundable deposit will count as a $25 no show fee. You will need to pay an additional $25 deposit that can be applied to your consultation. *After two (2) NO SHOW appointments, the client may be required to pre-pay for future appointments
